OSCAR will democratize access to accurate data and actionable insights that governments and organizations supporting them (NGOs, intergovernmental organizations, academic/research institutions) need for effective climate risk analysis, planning, project proposals, and negotiating fair terms and pricing of financing and insurance.
OSCAR will function as a technical "bridge" between the scientific community and A/R decision-makers, enabling them to apply the latest science about the risks they face.
By improving awareness in thousands of communities about the catastrophic impacts they face, OSCAR will help increase support for policies, programs, and governance that enables adaptation and resilience, and reduces the greenhouse gas emissions and deforestation that drive these catastrophes.
Our Goals
